I have been coveting silver pointy toe pumps for months. I saw these J. Crew ones on so many blogs and loved them, but wanted to find something more affordable and a little less harsh. On a night of late night Zappos shopping I fell in love with this pair, and when I saw the color was “champagne” I knew it was meant to be. These are my second recent shoe purchase from Joe’s Jeans, I’m really loving their offerings. These pumps are so versatile, they are appropriate for almost any season and look great with a skirt for work or dark skinny denim for a night out.

The cut of this skirt is fun, flattering, and versatile. I would wear it to work or for dinner on a warm spring night. It’s like a cross between a skater and pencil skirt and I want it in every color!

While I’ve been admiring the pattern mixing trend for some time, this is my first attempt. Keeping it within the same color family and mixing simple prints like I did, is an easy way to dip your toe in the water with the trend.
Much to Monte’s delight, I spent another weekend in Santa Cruz. We snapped these pictures before heading to Sunday brunch, when the fog was still thick. Luckily it cleared up, and we were able to enjoy a fun day at the beach playing Bocci ball with a group of friends.

Nars Pure Radiance Tinted Moisturizer
When I went to the new Nars store on Fillmore to try on lipstick they gave me a sample of this stuff. As soon as I put it on, I was sold. I have extremely dry skin (due to topical acne creams) and this blends so well and keeps my face from looking peely all day without adding shine (a miracle). The coverage is enough to replace my daily foundation and I love that it has the added bonus of SPF 30 (not that I see the sun that much in SF anyways).

Sera and I both can’t stop raving about this hair serum that came in our Lucky Fabb goody bag. Our hair felt noticeably softer after just one use.
Chanel Correcteur Perfection Long Lasting Concealer
My co-worker used to work for Chanel and is constantly trying to convert me to all of their products. I was always hesitant to try their stuff because of the price point, so this is my first Chanel cosmetics purchase. It’s so much better than what I was using. Good coverage, easy to blend, lasts all day, gets the job done.
I was a devout Burt’s Bees user for years, and now I have no idea why. Even though I used it all the time, my lips were always chapped. I have thrown it all out ,and am now in love with this fun little egg that was in my Lucky Fabb swag bag. It’s a nice lightweight balm with a very light lemon scent that leaves my lips perfectly smooth.
Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair Dry Cleaning Spray
My friends and co-workers probably suspect I work for this company, I try to sell everyone on it so much. Dry shampoo has just made my life so much easier that I want everyone to reap the benefits! To be honest, with the help of this stuff I only wash my hair 2-3 days a week. This one smells of candy and doesn’t cast a white stripe or matt down your hair when applied.

I actually wore this dress for my college graduation (a little short for the occasion in hindsight) but never wore it again because it has an open back that doesn’t make it easy to wear a bra. I pictured this looking great with a denim jacket, but since I’ve yet to find the perfect one I popped on my chambray to give the dress a second life as a skirt. Also, how cute are these Toms? They are super comfy, and will be a go to for summer days and casual dinners.
